python3-tables software package provides hierarchical database for Python3 based on HDF5, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-tables
python3-tables is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-tables package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-tables *
You will get with python3-tables package name, version, architecture and description in a table
